Mosaic jewelry making is back at Mosaic Oasis and I’m teaching it! One Friday night per month is reserved for mosaic jewelry making. In one evening, you can walk out wearing a new pair of earrings and a pendant. In addition to earring and pendant findings, we also carry  earrings, pendants, key chains, bottle stoppers, cabinet pulls, and more. Come and try your hand at designing your own jewelry! Bring your own costume jewelry (but not necessary) to add to your new pieces. A great way to end your work week, bring a snack and beverage if you like!

Make a Mosaic Fish Or a Mirror

In this workshop, you’ll can make a mirror or a fish. Take this opportunity to show just how creative you are! Your fish can be red or striped or polka dotted. You can choose to make your fish directly on a cut-out wood board in the shape of a fish or trace a fish shape onto another substrate.

If you opt to make a mirror, you can use intricate and simple patterns using the richness of millefiori, beads, recycled jewelry and glass. The possibilities are endless.  Whatever you create, you’ll learn about the benefits of using Apoxie Sculpt. Mosaics will not be grouted. I will supply everything you need for this project including the substrate, adhesive, cutting tools, glass, china, beads, jewels and bling! No prior experience is necessary. If you’d like to bring old costume jewelry, we can take it apart and your can reuse it in your project.
