In this two-day hands-on workshop, you will learn how to design a mosaic around your mirror. You’ll create intricate and simple patterns using the richness of millefiori and glass. The possibilities are boundless; you can create a retro look by using checkerboard or diamond patterns or a Renaissance effect by using lots of gold and jewels. You’ll also learn about the benefits of using apoxy sculpt as an adhesive (no grouting!) as well as the some of the basics of color and design theory. Design templates are available as well as an extensive array of materials.

Amy Marks is an experienced teacher who has taught mosaic classes for five years at mosaic studios and art centers in Massachusetts and New York including the Fuller Craft Museum and Snow Farm Craft Center.
